Arkio 2.3 apps

# The Arkio 2.3 apps, and the move to 3.0.

These are the previous Arkio apps for VR, PC, Mac, iOS and Android. They are **not** the new Arkio 3.0 with the AI design agent. While we move to 3.0, they are free to use.

The plan

## From the 2.3 apps to Arkio 3.0.

Arkio 3.0 starts on the web, then comes to every device Arkio runs on today. Until then, the 2.3 apps for VR, PC, Mac, iOS and Android are free to use.

1. **Arkio 3.0 on the web** (01 · NOW): The new AI experience runs in your browser, on a computer, an iPad or a phone.
2. **A native iPad app** (02 · NEXT): Arkio 3.0 as an app for iPad, for sketching with a pencil and designing on the go.
3. **A re-imagined VR version** (03 · COMING SOON): Arkio 3.0 in VR, with the AI agent at its core.

## The previous apps, free while we move.

These apps don't include the AI design agent. Free to use on every device while Arkio 3.0 comes to iPad and VR.

- **Windows PC (Arkio 2.3):** The Windows app, for your PC and PC VR headsets, with plugins for Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Archicad and Navisworks. The plugins also bring your models into Arkio 3.0\. #### Your models in Arkio 3.0

The plugins send models from Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Archicad and Navisworks to Arkio 3.0 on the web, through Arkio on your PC. Bringing these models into Arkio 3.0 needs Pro or Team.

1. **Install.** Install Arkio for Windows with the plugins for the tools you use, and update any older plugins.
2. **Connect.** Join the same Arkio Cloud group in Arkio on your PC and in Arkio 3.0, and keep Arkio running on your PC.
3. **Export.** Use Arkio Export in Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Archicad or Navisworks. The model appears under Import in Arkio 3.0.
4. **Send it back.** Export from Arkio 3.0 for Revit, Rhino or SketchUp, and open it with the plugin’s Import command.

## Good to know.

### Do the Arkio 2.3 apps have the AI design agent?

No. The AI design agent, Live render and AI video are part of Arkio 3.0, which runs in your browser. The 2.3 apps are the previous generation of Arkio.

### Are the Arkio 2.3 apps free?

Yes. While we move to Arkio 3.0, Arkio for VR, PC, Mac, iOS and Android is free to use.

### I use Arkio today. What happens to my account?

All existing Arkio users will be moved to Arkio 3.0 at no additional cost. If you have questions, email us at support@arkio.is.

### When does Arkio 3.0 come to iPad and VR?

Arkio 3.0 already works on iPad in the browser. A native iPad app comes next, followed by a re-imagined VR version. We will share dates as they firm up.
